About Me

Michael Uccelli (Registered Member MBACP)

After a degree and masters in psychology, I furthered my studies to a BA in Person Centred counselling at the Metanoia Institute.  This has provided me with an established and well recognised qualification.  I am also a Registered Member (MBACP) of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and adhere to their ethical framework.

I deeply believe in the ethos, values and morals of the Person Centred Approach to counselling.  I have experience working with all age groups and along with my private practice I also provide counselling to three local secondary schools and one primary school.

My current interests also include working with sportspeople (of any age).  Having enjoyed sport to competitive level, and having experienced serious injury, I am interested in working with sportspeople who are either struggling with injury, competitiveness or any other barriers that are stopping them from reaching their goals.
